Elastomer For Moulds

1. KAROPOL A55 GREY 2:1

Products should be stored in a climate-controlled room (20–25 °C).

The model mold must be very well dried.

The product mixing ratio is 100 Karopol Grey 55 A : 50 Karopol B. The products are weighed according to this ratio.

First mixing: Using a drill that is not at very high speed, mix carefully with circular motions for approximately 1 minute, avoiding the formation of foam.

The mixture is then transferred to a second container and mixed again for 1 more minute. Make sure the product is mixed homogeneously.

The casting process is carried out by allowing the air in the product to escape and pouring it thinly through the casting hole.

The mold is opened after 48 hours.

Only the water-based mold release agent “KA-RPL-Cream” should be applied to the mold surface that is ready for casting. Diesel fuel, Arab soap, and unapproved mold release agents may cause deformation of the elastomer over time.

Work Mold Casting

The prepared elastomer mold has high moisture resistance. When used under suitable conditions with a water-based mold release agent, it can achieve a very high number of castings.

When stored over time under correct conditions, no deformation, tearing, or shape distortion occurs.

2. NATURAL 1:1 55A

It has good moisture resistance. A solvent-based mold release  can be used in Mother molds. We recommend the pouring stage 1:1 mixing ratios in two different containers with mixing for 2 minutes. The mold can be opened after 24 hours. The product that you mold is 55 shore ,the color is beige and has high strength. Excellent results are obtained in especially superficial molds, for example in large sinks.

 When the ceramic production mold casting starts, no soap and petrolium based products  are  recommended to be used on the polyurethane product. The mold release agent should be water-based.

3. HT RED 1:1 45A

A solvent-based mold release  can be used in Mother molds. We recommend the pouring stage 1:1 mixing ratios in two different containers with mixing for 2 minutes .The mold can be opened after 24 hours. The product that you mold is 45 shore ,the color is red.
